We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Book Nerdection Reviewers’ Choice Awards, recognizing outstanding literary contributions across various genres. From November 2022 to October 2023, we received an incredible array of submissions, each showcasing unique storytelling and creativity. After careful consideration, our panel of reviewers has selected the best in each category. Here are the winners:

Secrets: Mysteries of the Sìd By Maria M. Lacroix

The atmosphere of Secrets: Mysteries of the Sìd is gripping from the start, and the way the writer switches the POV between both the lead characters is appreciative as you get to know about both characters.

DELOS – The Moon’s Eye By Blake Miller

This is a really powerful sequel that delivers on the promise of the conclusion of the original one and does it with personality, character, and a clear knowledge of what works and doesn’t work in storytelling.

Kevin in his review for DELOS – The Moon’s Eye

SYMUTAL By Dean Alexandrou

The world-building of SYMUTAL is so splendid as if Alexandrou went there, witnessed everything with his eyes, and lived to tell the tale.

Madeeha in her review for Symutal

The Challenger By Anders Aaslund

Absolutely recommended for fans of Marie Lu, The Challenger is a character-driven action-packed sci fi in which Star Trek meets Skyward with loveable tropes and a plot that’s sure to keep you on your toes.

Rebirth By Victor Fleischer

Thing that I loved about this book was its ability to portray the images of all the scenes going on into the reader’s mind. Rebirth is surely going to become your absolute favorite once you start reading it!

The Elements of Time By Sam Paisley

Great care and a lot of thought were put into the creation of the world and characters of this fantasy adventure story. The author went to great trouble to give the reader a fantasy story as close as possible to reality.

Teen Mothers: Designing A Fabulous Life By Michelle Swann

Though the writer wrote this book specifically for teen mothers, all first-time moms or new moms-to-be should read this book as it explains the motherhood journey and various challenges related to it nicely. As a new mother myself, I cannot recommend this book enough.

So Good They Call You A Fake By Joshua Lisec

Joshua provided premium value in his book and proved to be a man of his word by not wasting the readers’ time and money. Each of the chapters provided a comprehensive framework that leads to infinite success when followed religiously.

Right For You By Lindsay Gordon

Lindsay was successful in writing the perfect career-coaching book. It focuses on shifting the mindset to make professional decisions. But the benefit does not end here. Her framework changes your mindset in such a way that you become content in other areas of your life. This is because her framework helps in clearing your mind, making informed decisions, discovering your skillset, negotiating skills, and never settling for less.

Discovering Mom By Bryan Foreman

This was a quick, enlightening read that I would recommend to anyone. The characters were likable, for the most part, and the journey that was explored was fulfilling. The final chapter of the book that tied everything together definitely made me tear up!

Alyssa in her Review for Discovering Mom

Cenotaphs By Rich Marcello

When the Greeks came up with the five different types of love, they planted a seed from which the pages of this book would be formed.

Chantal in her Review for Cenotaphs

The Soul Machines By Alexandru Czimbor

The book successfully told the story, delivered the lesson, portrayed humanity’s greedy nature, and handled the complicated plot. There were numerous debates on history and religion, and Alexandru handled them carefully.

Lethal Connections: The Poison ID Unit By Karen Fuller

With a suspense-packed progression of events and exciting plot twist, Lethal Connections meets all the cravings of a crime novel lover.

American Odyssey By Brian Hess

This book is an absolute eye-opener for man’s desire for money, luxury and lust. The way in which Uriel, and readers get to learn difficult lessons of humanity and the consequences greed brings for its attainer are well-described using the main character’s story.

Ready…Set…Frog! By Katharine Mitropoulos Illustrated By Laura Watson

Frog’s tale teaches the message about balancing the act of prioritizing yourself and helping others. This will prepare children to react accordingly in real life, where it’s always difficult to make such decisions promptly.

Madeeha in her Review for Ready…Set…Frog!

Hidden Women: Dara’s Tree and Cosmic and Eternal Love By Amrita Sen

This is a must read (or rather, listen) for all ages, particularly those with an interest in religious and international history. There is no mature content, but previous knowledge of the stories of Buddha and Radha Krishna would be advantageous.

Dead Man’s Pose By Susan Rogers & John Roosen

In a world where hundreds to thousands of mystery books exist, it takes something exceptional to tip a story over the ledge into critical acclaim. Hand on my heart, I can honestly say I’ve never encountered a mystery book with this theme. “Yoga Mat Mysteries” snaps up a reader’s attention instantaneously.

Chantal in her Review for Dead Man’s Pose
