My Take On An Empty House Doesn’t Sneeze

An Empty House Doesn’t Sneeze is a great fictional book that thrusts you back into the past and whispers tales that are simple, interesting, yet unforgettable. 

The writer has highlighted the things that happen in a war, food shortages, blackouts, fear of death, and lastly, how it affects the lives of children. I loved this book because it combines historical fiction with mystery and suspense. The characters are well-developed, and the plot keeps you engaged from start to finish.

Scotty was a brave kid with the qualities of a spy. He solved many queries during the war. The story teaches about loyalty, friendship, problem-solving, love, unity, and much more. Throughout the novel, his sister and brother stand side by side. 

His friend Burr also played an important role as he helped him through highs and lows. He was intelligent and had invented great physics projects. Oh, how I love intelligent characters! 

The family’s life in the air raid shelter was both simple and difficult. The author captures what it’s like to live in such tough conditions and shows how war changes everyday life. The story highlights the importance of hope and courage, even in the darkest times.
