The author does a great job portraying themes like the sacrifices of the characters; each character has their own qualities that are put to the test. I connected to the story deeply due to Joe’s journey, which blends action and humor perfectly.

The way Joe forms a connection with all his teammates created emotional depth for me. Tom did a great job adding the found family part to the story. The story’s fast pace kept me engaged.

The book also explores some deep themes like trust in the team and the consequences of violence. Each character grows throughout the story, facing their fears. Their courage to do the right thing under pressure adds more meaning to it.
