Books We Accept
We accept most genres, ranging from fiction to non-fiction. However, we currently do not accept political or religious-themed books, or erotica.
While we primarily accept e-books, if you prefer to send a physical copy, please contact us using the form below, and we will provide an address for shipping.
Indie and Self-Published Books
Please note that we do not review stories published exclusively on platforms like Wattpad, Royal Road, or similar sites. However, we do accept self-published books if they have a broad reach and are easily accessible to readers.
Review Timeline
Our reviewers take the time to fully read and understand each book before writing a review. As a result, it may take approximately two to eight weeks for your review to be posted.
Rating System
At Book Nerdection, we believe every book has an audience, no matter how niche. Our reviewers aim to provide objective reviews tailored to the book’s intended audience, with a personal touch to ensure authenticity. Books undergo an initial assessment before being sent to reviewers. Upon approval, the book will be reviewed according to our rating system:
- Nerdection Must Read: 5/5
- Nerdection Excellent Read: 4/5
- Nerdection Good Read: 3/5
Declining Reviews
We reserve the right to decline to review any book we deem unsuitable for our website. Additionally, we may discontinue reading and cancel reviews for books that we anticipate will receive a rating below 3/5. If we cannot feature your book, please don’t be discouraged—there may be other platforms better suited to appreciate your work.
Note that in such a case, a full refund will be issued to the author.
Payment
As a professional platform, we charge a fee for book reviews. This fee compensates our reviewers and helps maintain the website. Please ensure you are prepared to pay before contacting us. We currently accept payments via PayPal.
Cost:
- Regular Book Review (6–8 Weeks): $59.99
- Express Book Review (4–6 Weeks): $89.99
- Super Express Book Review (2–4 Weeks): $119.99
