This book was so much joy to read. Each chapter was interesting and had good cliffhangers. This book has some amazing turns and twists. Throughout, I was kept utterly entertained, and Zeb’s mission was incredibly motivating towards the end. His determination to find his father despite the obstacles that stood in front of him is worthy of emulation.

Another thrilling aspect of this novel is how Zeb’s confidence was portrayed when he maneuvers the surfboard skillfully, embarking on a thrilling journey along Cornwall’s coast. I was able to discover the beautiful scenery in my mind, due to the way the author’s placement of words.

Also, I like the fact that there is some sort of contrast in the views of Zeb and his mother. Zeb’s mother characterizes his father as reckless, while Zeb sees him as a hero, particularly in connection to the ocean and the possibilities it holds. Zeb’s desire to maintain his connection to his father and Cornwall clashes with his mother’s attempts to adapt to their new life in London.
